Central District performs recreation-related studies required to ensure
that recreation and fish and wildlife preservation and enhancement are considered along with the
primary purposes in the construction and operation of State Water Project facilities. Technical expertise
and coordination with local agencies in recreational facilities development within State Water
Project boundaries are provided.
Central District also administers contracts that fund recreational projects, conducts
annual site inspections, responds to requests for information, processes requests for fee revisions
at recreational facilities, and processes contract revisions and project modifications. |
