The Watershed/California-Nevada Assessment
Section is generally responsible for:

California-Nevada
Assessment – addressing interstate water
allocation and related issues on the Truckee,
Carson, and Walker Rivers.

Watershed
Assessment - act as the
“gateway” to the technical resources of the
Central District for the CALFED Watershed
Management Program.

Water
Quality Monitoring-Studies - water quality
and engineering studies that assess potential
effects of natural and man-made pollutants on the
surface and groundwater supply in the Central
District service area.
